In all campuses of Modernage admission is open for different levels according to the following schedule:
During the session, the enrollment for admission is generally NOT open. However, a student may be enrolled upon the recommendation of the Principal but that too is dependent upon the availability of seats.
Yes, students can also apply online through our website (www.maps.edu.pk). The School Secretary contacts the parents/guardians of a child upon receipt of this online form and sets an appointment to meet the concerned authorities for completing the process for enrollment of the child for Entrance Test.
The Enrollment Form is a brief document that provides the school with the initial information of the student and is used as an entry test pass for students. The parents or guardians of a student have to come to any office of Modernage along with the NADRA Form B or Birth Certificate of the student to fill the Enrollment Form.
There is an age criterion for seeking admission in different classes which is given in the table below for each class. An age relaxation of 3 to 6 months is granted at the time of admission. According to the instructions of BISE-Abbottabad the age criteria for appearing in exams is strictly followed for SSC and HSSC.

The students are offered admissions in three categories at MAPS, named as Day Scholars, Boarders & Day Boarders.
The Secretary and the VP in each campus of Modernage have the updated information about the vacant seats available as well as the entry test schedule. The entry test schedule is available on the website of Modernage and the social media sites also.
According to the Admission Policy of Modernage, the students up to Grade VIII are granted admission to the next class based on their promotions from previous school. However, in case of a difference in the starting time of academic session in a school, the students can be granted admission to the next class based on their performance in the Entrance Test of Modernage.
No, a child is granted admission based on their promotions from previous school.
All admission procedures apply to students coming from overseas. They also have to appear in Entrance Test and interview. Further, they have an option to study Pakistani Culture instead of Urdu in Board classes if they have difficulty in the written language. For overseas students, a copy of passport or NICOP card is also required as supporting documents along with the admission form.
If a student is coming from an Exam Board other than that of Modernage, admission is dependent upon proper migration from the board. The student is provided proper orientation, class notes and practice tests by the teachers.
No, the students of Playgroup and Nursery only have a simple interview in which their readiness to start school is assessed and a connection is made between the school and the parents/guardians of the student.
A student seeking admission in Inter after O-Levels is required to submit an Equivalence Certificate at the time of admission.
A student who was struck off due to non-payment of dues can be re-admitted upon payment of all pending dues and availability of seat in the class with the approval of the Vice Principal. If a student was struck off due to Academics or Disciplinary matters, re-admission is not granted.
The students applying for admission as boarders must meet all the criteria that applies to day-scholars as mentioned in the Admission Policy of Modernage. For the convenience of the parents, the interview along with the parents/guardians is also done on the day of the Entry Test. Once the admission is granted the student is required to submit the admission form along with necessary documents and fee.
No, the admission is closed after the due dates for all students whether day scholars or boarders.
Except for the fee structure, all criteria for boarders, day-boarders and day-scholars, are the same.
The day-boarders follow the Entry Test and Interview process just like day-scholars. Their admission is different in the sense that they stay at school till Maghrib prayers. They have lunch at school and attend the evening study and games with the boarders. They are allotted a space in the boarding house to keep their track suit and uniform.
Mid-Term Admission/Transfer requests from another school are taken into consideration upon the recommendation of the Principal only for families who have shifted from another city. It is, however, dependent upon the availability of a seat in the desired class. The student must score at least 50% marks in the Entrance Test to qualify for Mid-Term Admission/Transfer.
Yes, a student can transfer from one Campus of Modernage to another. The inter-campus transfer of a student is based on the availability of a seat in the desired campus. The parents move an application through the Secretary of the campus in which the child is already studying who then contacts the office at the other campus with the permission of the VPs of both campuses. Finally, the IT Department in the Head Office of Modernage transfers the student in the MIS from one campus to another after approval of both VPs.
After the enrollment of a student for the Entrance Test, the parents/guardians of a child are provided information about the date, time and venue of the Entrance Test.
The parents have to ensure that their children arrive at the venue of the Entrance Test at least 15 minutes before the test. The students must carry with them an exam board and stationery items. They are directed by the staff to their classes for the written Entrance Test.
There is no written test for students applying in Playgroup and Nursery. For students applying for admission in Class Prep to V, three written papers of English, Urdu and Math are taken while for students applying for admission in Grade VI till IX, an additional paper of General Science is also conducted. The students applying for admission in Class XI, have to appear in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Math papers according to their choice of Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering & Computer Science along with a general paper of languages.

If a prospective student is absent on the day of the Entrance Test he/she is dropped. If a seat is vacant, their name is shifted to the next Entrance Test upon the request of parents and the approval of the Vice Principal.

The results of Entrance Test are declared within two days of the conduct of the test. The parents of all the candidates receive an sms about the result of their child and are also informed by the School Secretary through a phone call. The result is displayed on the school notice board as well.
The purpose of the interview is to test the confidence, readiness for school and oral language skills of the child and also to know about the parents' expectations from Modernage.
The candidates who qualify the written Entrance Test are informed by the School Secretary through phone calls about the exact date and time of the interview appointment. The siblings are facilitated to arrive at the same time for interview.
A student is required to provide complete Admission Application Form along with a copy of the National Identity Card copy of the father or guardian, 03 pictures of candidate and B-form/Birth registration certificate from concerned union council and from prep class they are also required to provide the SLC.
The MIS of the school indicates the strength of each class. All classes at Modernage are mixed ability classes and have similar standards of teaching and learning. Based on the strength of a section, the MIS allots students to their respective section, groups and houses.
The initial bill is generated after the information on the Admission Form is punched in the MIS by the School Secretary. The parents can deposit the initial fee bill in cash and get a receipt or deposit it in the designated bank of the school.
The students along with their parents or guardians can attend the Open Day. These orientations sessions are specifically organized for parents and help to form a bond between the school and the family.
The Open day is held 4 to 5 days before the opening of the school for the new session. All the newly admitted students and their parents or guardians attend it in their respective campuses.
The Open Day includes meetings with the school staff especially the teachers of the students, discussions about the school academic, co-curricular and discipline policies, classroom visits, and campus tour. The visitors can freely walk around the whole campus, visit classrooms, and engage in conversations with teachers.
A comprehensive uniform list is available in the school Prospectus. It is also placed on the website of Modernage. The students from Playgroup till Grade II wear comfortable track suits that are available from the school office. The uniform of students from Grade III till XII can be easily obtained from the uniform vendors in local market.
