Mega Events

Modernage hosts four mega events every year in which competitions are held among delegates from different schools coming from all over Pakistan. Professionals, educationists and academicians from all over the country and abroad are invited to participate in these events.

FOR STUDENTS OF PRIMARY LEVEL:

Held every year in April, the Juniors Joy celebrates creativity and joy of learning. The event brings together hundreds of students and teachers at a forum where they exhibit their talents and share best practices in learning.

FOR STUDENTS FROM CLASS VI TO XII:

This convention is organized under the auspices of EQUIP-Pakistan in the month of November every year. This organization strives to implement the concept of total quality and excellence in education derived from TQM in its full spirit. The students work in volunteer groups called Students Quality Circles. They identify the problems that they are facing, analyze them and use scientific tools to solve them. They prepare their case studies and present them at national and international conventions.

A NATIONAL SPELLING BEE CHAMPIONSHIP FOR STUDENTS FROM CLASS III TO XII

This event gives the students a chance to improve their spellings and vocabulary. Held every year in August, the event brings together English language learners under one roof to test their mettle.

ALIF ALFAZ – TEY TALAFUZ (الف الفاظ ت تلفظ)

FOR STUDENTS FROM CLASS III TO VIII

This yearly event promotes the vocabulary, pronunciation and spellings of students in Urdu language. Held every year in June, it gives a chance to students to reconnect with their national language.

Training of Faculty and Staff

Modernage is an institution that banks on the synergy created by its team. Under the auspices of Ms. Paula Bass Institute for Professional Development – a sister organization of Modernage, training is provided to its staff at all levels – administration, teachers, office staff and support staff. Two conferences of four to six days duration are held every year in summer and winter vacation. Teachers from other schools are also invited to participate in these sessions. As a result of training an overall culture of learning and sharing has developed in the whole organization.

INTERNATIONAL TEACHER & STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAMS

Modernage strives to promote global citizenship in its students and teachers through Teacher Exchange and Student Exchange Programs. Successful programs have been conducted with countries like Sri Lanka, India, Japan, Turkey, Mauritius, UK, Iran, Bangladesh, Nepal, China, etc.

As a part of its social responsibility, Modernage supports the following welfare organizations:
